Choice Point Coaching
Terms of Service
Choice Point Coaching, LLC
Effective Date: November 12, 2025
1. About Our Services
Choice Point Coaching, LLC provides evidence-informed behavior change coaching for children, teens, young adults, and families. Our services focus on skill reinforcement, goal-directed behavior, emotional flexibility, and family alignment.
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. We do not provide diagnosis, clinical intervention, or crisis services. Clients are encouraged to maintain relationships with licensed healthcare and mental health providers as appropriate.
2. Who May Use Our Services
Our services are available to individuals and families who voluntarily choose to participate. Use of this website and our services indicates your agreement to these Terms of Service.
Services for clients under 18 years of age require written consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to the start of coaching. The parent or guardian serves as the primary contact for scheduling and billing.
3. The Coaching Relationship
The coaching relationship is collaborative, supportive, and forward-focused. Choice Point Coaching helps clients clarify goals, strengthen effective strategies, and build momentum toward meaningful progress in daily life.
Clients and caregivers are responsible for implementing strategies and decisions discussed in coaching. While we are committed to delivering our services with professionalism, integrity, and care, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
4. Confidentiality
All sessions, notes, and communications are kept private and stored securely. Confidentiality may only be broken when required by law, including:
Risk of harm to self or others.
Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult.
A valid court order or legal requirement.
For minor clients, sessions remain confidential to support trust and progress. Parents may receive general updates but not detailed session content unless the minor consents. Safety concerns are always communicated to parents immediately.
5. Communication and Availability
Clients may send messages between sessions for accountability or encouragement through our secure communication platforms. Messages are reviewed during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
Our communication tools are not monitored in real time and are not intended for emergencies. For urgent or crisis situations, contact 911, 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), or your local emergency services.
6. Scheduling and Cancellations
Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Late cancellations or missed sessions without notice may result in that session being forfeited. Repeated cancellations may lead to discontinuation of services.
7. Payment
Choice Point Coaching operates as a self-pay service. Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle through secure online processing.
Monthly packages renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the billing date. Unused sessions do not roll over. Services may be paused or discontinued with written notice.
8. Virtual Sessions and Technology
All sessions are conducted through secure, privacy-compliant virtual platforms. Clients are responsible for ensuring a quiet, private environment and a stable internet connection with functioning audio and video.
Choice Point Coaching is not responsible for session disruptions caused by client-side technical issues.
9. Use of AI and Digital Tools
Choice Point Coaching may use secure, ethical AI tools to assist with communication, session summaries, progress tracking, and program development. These tools support but do not replace the human coaching relationship.
Client data processed through AI tools is never sold or shared externally, and is protected according to our Privacy Policy. Clients may opt out of AI-assisted features at any time by written request.
10. Scope of Practice and Referrals
Choice Point Coaching provides educational, skills-based support that is distinct from psychotherapy or medical care. If clinical or therapeutic care appears necessary, we will offer referrals to qualified professionals.
We are not a crisis service. If a client expresses suicidal intent, risk of harm, or other immediate safety concerns, the parent or guardian will be contacted, and referrals will be made to appropriate services.
11. Termination of Services
Either the client (or parent/guardian) or Choice Point Coaching may end the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Prepaid sessions will be honored or refunded at the discretion of Choice Point Coaching.
If coaching is no longer appropriate for any reason, we will make every effort to provide suitable referrals.
12. Limitation of Liability
By using our website or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily. Choice Point Coaching and its representatives are not liable for decisions, outcomes, or actions taken as a result of coaching.
Coaching does not guarantee specific results and is not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention.
13. Updates to These Terms
Choice Point Coaching may update these Terms of Service as our practices, tools, or legal obligations evolve. Clients will be notified of significant changes affecting privacy, data handling, or service structure.
Continued use of our website or services after notification of updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
